Red colored pen on A4 paper. One of the many early self-portrait lithographies of the young niece of Laura. Made at the age of two. Watch the video to find out how this might be a base for a passionate and happy life full of fulfillment. I love the guy. (Like always – picture comments by Michel.)
Hey Friends! We hope you had a great weekend! We are excited to share with you this absolutely great story about following own passion. The Big Story contains many smaller stories in it – we were impressed by all of them. As a matter of fact – Jarrett J. Krosoczka is a fantastic story teller and the time you will invest in watching his talk will be the time well spent.
Volunteer firefighter Mark Bezos tells a short (4 minutes) story about being a hero. Well, it´s not the traditional way of how we usually think of a heroic activity. And why? Because not every day is going to offer us a chance to be a hero on a great scale, but every day offers us an opportunity to make a difference in somebody´s life.
You will love his story, we are quite sure about it 🙂
This video is a real treat (well, it was for us) – it is a chance to accompany an extraordinary man on his unique journey and learn from him surprising things that make you think and be inspired loooong after you are done with watching the video. (For us – it´s been a week since we watched him talk, but his words still appear in our minds and conversations. Every single day. And- for good.)
John Francis has walked great distances by foot. He has avoided talking for a very long time (and there is a great reason and benefit from it!). He has taught his students in an unusual way. His journey and way of life have taken him through powerful transformation. Now he shares his brave insights about different things, including – what it means to be a prisoner in own heart.
This excellent speech demonstrates the real meaning of DETERMINATION, PERSEVERANCE and BREAKING LIMITATIONS. Magician and stuntman David Blaine tells his real story about what it took him to break the world record and hold his breath underwater for 17 minutes. It became the most amazing journey of his life. And there is a lot for us to learn and apply to our own life.
Today´s video is an amazing story: “Wings of Life” – it´s a love story that keeps all of us alive. There are parts of the Pollination process that majority of us have not seen. The movie reveals some sweet Nature secrets through beautiful images. Continue reading
We are happy and excited to share with you this inspiring video ADVENTURE full of fascinating insights by the GREATEST EXPLORER of our time – Mike Horn. He lives his passion by being who he really is – the Explorer who lives each and every day of his life to its fullest. In fact, it´s exactly what he tells us to do too. And he has a reason to do it. He has a point about it. A HUGE ONE. (By the way – this is Michel´s and my absolutely favorite speech we have seen so far – we are blown away by the message of this great man.) Continue reading
Have you asked yourself the primary question about your life: “WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH WHAT YOU´VE BEEN GIVEN?” What if you ask this question yourself now and keep repeating it during the day, throughout the weekend or next few days, and stay open for the answers that you get.
“What do you have that you have been given? Talent, background, education, freedom, networks, opportunities, wealth, ideas, creativity…”
Whatever the answers you get, keep in mind that “…God smiles when YOU BE YOU“.
British philosopher Alan Watts has a wonderful talk about what we should focus on when deciding on how to spend the life. He asks: “How would you really enjoy spending your life?” His message is somewhat similar to the message of professor Larry Smith who teaches how not to waste life when deciding what life to choose.
There are nice pearls of wisdom in this short 3 minutes video with Watt´s talk – becoming a master, being an example to others, living a life that is full of meaning. His talk certainly will make you think deeper about your own life.
Thank you, Lauri, for bringing this great video to our attention!
Do you want to know the absurd excuses why people (that is – me and you too) are settling for less than a great career? This is a chance to find out how a small difference actually makes a HUGE difference in our lives and in the lives of people who matter to us – it´s the difference between GOOD and GREAT, between INTEREST and PASSION. James Cameron is not only the director of movies Avatar and Titanic, but also the person with always present curiosity and imagination without boundaries.
In this talk he speaks about the important principles of success – curiosity, imagination and respect. My favorite part of his speech is about the attitude to failure and fear.
Charlie Todd plays by creating unexpected and joyful public scenes to bring people together. There are many people who join his plays. It gives an opportunity to smile for even more people who happen to be at those sites where the plays take place. Continue reading
Faith Dickey is a Master of balance and controlling her fear. Last year she walked on the rope strung between two trucks that were driving on the highway at 80 miles (129 km) per hour. Are you a daughter? Do you you know somebody who is a daughter?
Sarah Key´s poem “For my daughter” that she performed in March 2011 on TED was met with standing ovations and has been viewed millions of times. The above title “Beauty of this funny place called LIFE” is a quote from her poem.
Watch this performance – it will certainly enrich your day, no matter what is your gender. You might start to see the world and yourself differently and understand something about the world and yourself a little bit better. It will add beauty to your day.
Benjamin Zander has a passion for classical music. And he has a great talent to inspire others to perform their best and think deeper.

There is no need to add anything to the excellent way Ze Frank puts it: “There is no need to sharpen my pencils anymore. My pencils are sharp enough. Even the dull ones will make a mark.”
We hope you enjoy watching this video just as much as we do. Every time we watch it, something clicks inside us. For good. For action. For change. “…and God, let me enjoy this!”:-)
