This is a powerful story of what difference it makes when we ACCEPT THE REALITY, but NOT THE LIMITATIONS. It is a living example of a REAL person LIVING BEYOND LIMITS and drawing INSPIRATION FROM OBSTACLES in her life. It is a truly inspiring story that provokes action. (The type of story that is highly appreciated here, at our place)
We all have a family. If and how we communicate (or do not communicate) to the members of that family is a completely different subject out of the frame of this post. 😉
Today´s video is a story about the family who have been able to expand not only the borders of their comfort zone, but also their minds and MAKE SO MUCH POSSIBLE. It is something very valuable to watch – something that makes you think…
With Christmas time approaching, it is a good moment to think about the GIFTS each one of us has received at some point in life – gifts that are life changing and priceless. In fact, these gifts have nothing to do with Christmas. And still – now is a very good time to think about these gifts. This changes the perception about life and what´s valuable.
Stacey Kramer shares her priceless gift story. Her 3 minute talk gives a chance to think and see things differently. FOR GOOD.
Have you ever been given the priceless lesson? That kind of gift when life gives you high five. In the face. With a brick.
You are in pain. You are shocked. You are down, lost and do not know how to go on. You wonder if you should go on at all. You even question yourself if you did right when you dared to move into direction of your dreams.
You see, I know what I am talking about. It was my face from which I peeled off that high-five-brick. When I recovered from the first shock, I searched for the solution how to deal with the pain and looked for strength to get up and to go on.
This was my ACTION PLAN. Maybe it helps you too…

Giles Duley was a photographer of fashion world and celebrities, but then he changed his focus. He used his camera to document the stories that had not been told. They were not easy stories. They were uncomfortable. Real.
Last year during his assignment in Afghanistan he stepped on a landmine. He continues telling stories. And he has become a powerful story himself.
This poem is found written on the wall in Mother Teresa´s home for children in Calcutta, India:
People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.
What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.
Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway.
In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.
Ballerina Ma Li was 19 years old when she lost her right arm in a car accident. Her boyfriend left her. She tried to kill herself, but was rescued by her parents. She had to learn how to do things like comb her hair, cook, write, take care of herself in the new situation. Five years later she returned to theaters and met her soul mate Tao. Then due to the outbreak of SARS in 2004 theaters were closed, and couple had no money.
In autumn of 2005 Ma Li met national Special Olympics cyclist Zhai Xiaowei who was then 21 years old. He had lost his left leg in an accident at the age of four. In the beginning Zhai did not understand how he could dance with Ma Li as he had not danced before. But they decided to try. Their training was very intensive. It lasted more than a year, from 8 in the morning till 11 at night. Zhai dropped her thousands of times.
